Belarus to celebrate Day of Belarusian Written Language

On the Day of Belarusian Written Language, a monument to Lew Sapieha will be unveiled in Slonim. The festive events will traditionally be held on the first Sunday of September. Tomorrow begins a scientific and educational expedition Road to Shrines. On Saturday, a bookstore will open in Slonim, and the Slonim Readings conference will be held. The culmination of the holiday will be the presentation of the National Literary Prize.
