Ballet «Creation of the World» being renewed in Bolshoi Theater of Belarus

In the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus, the ballet «Creation of the World» is being renewed. The artistic director of the theater, People’s Artist of the USSR Valentin Yelizaryev, together with the heads of various workshops, evaluated the state of the scenery and the costumes of the performance. The works by the artist Yevgeny Lysik will be carefully restored. However, some outfits will have to be re-stitched - the ballet went on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater for over 40 years and its last show took place 4 years ago. The premiere of the author's edition of the play «Creation of the World» is scheduled for November. Also now, Valentin Elizariev is renewing the ballet «Carmen-Suite», which will be presented to the public on April 24.
