Artists restore "Saint Augustine" canvas

The Saint Augustine canvas is being renovated at the arts shop of the Ancient Belarusian culture museum at the National Academy of Sciences. The icon came to the artists from the Bereza district of Belarus. It is planned to be restored both technically and artistically. The scientific experts also plan to complete the renewal of the Archangel Michael icon. The restored works will be included into the museum's exposition of sacral arts. Orthodox, Catholic ecclesiastical articles of XVI-XIX centuries are presented in the collection.
