Art School created by Marc Chagall in Vitebsk celebrates its centenary

The Vitebsk Folk Art School, created by Marc Chagall, marks its centenary. Now it houses a museum. The great maestro, authorized by the board of arts of the Vitebsk province, invited famous artists and sculptors as teachers, including Malevich, Pen, Lissitzky. Ahead of the anniversary, a one-item exhibition opened in the museum featuring a document from the archives of the Vitebsk region. Also, the visitors were invited to an artistic performance.
