Arabic poems in Belarusian

Belarus and Palestine continue to develop cultural ties. Classics of Arabic poetry in Belarusian were presented in Minsk. The collection of poems «The Sorrows and Joys of Native Land» includes the works of the founder of the Palestinian literature Mahmud Darwish and the Belarusian poet and playwright Yanka Kupala. Arabic poems for the first time sounded in Belarusian thanks to the writer and translator Nikolai Metlitsky.
