A new exposition opened at the Slutsk Museum of Local Lore
09.12.2022
Slutsk is preparing to take over the baton of the cultural capital of Belarus in 2023. Significant events include the opening of a new exposition at the renovated Slutsk Museum of Local Lore. Among the unique exhibits are the original Slutsk belt and bone chess pieces from the 12th century. A team of specialists has been working on the creation of a new exposition for more than a year. During this period, the funds were significantly replenished with rare exhibits. Now there are more than 35,000 of them in the museum. It is no coincidence that the cosmonautics hall appeared in the museum of local lore. Many of the natives of the Slutsk land are veterans of Baikonur, aviation and rocket scientists.
