A center of Belarusian culture will open in Beijing in May, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming said as he attended the Chinese cultural events in Grodno. “Apart from the economic relations, our countries have also been working hard to strengthen the cultural ties, which lays a very important basis for our future work. We can say that we are witnessing a new stage in the cooperation between Belarus and China. A center of Chinese culture was unveiled in Minsk in 2016. A similar center of Belarusian culture will open in Beijing. The opening ceremony is slated for May 2017,” the diplomat said.
