200-meter mural created in regional center Gomel

Portrait of famous partizan of Belarus Emelian Barykin is under creation in Belarus' regional center Gomel. The mural will be placed on a facade of the 9-story dwelling house located in the street named after the Hero of the Soviet Union. A tema of experienced artists is engaged in the project. Premium-class paints will help preserve the picture for many years. The works are held at a height of 30 meters with a tower vehicle. The portrait is 70% ready. The wet and windy weather restrains the works. Yet the painters plan to finish the mural by the Day of the Great Victory.
