160th anniversary of Isaac Levitan’s birth

On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of Isaac Levitan’s birth, an exhibition of the "mood landscape" master has opened at the National Library. Reproductions of the most famous paintings by the artist, documents, memoirs of contemporaries, articles about his work are exhibited, e.g. Birch Grove, Autumn Day. Sokolniki, Evening Bells. In total, the collections of the National Library of Belarus contain more than 250 items dedicated to the landscape painter Isaac Levitan.
