REVIEW OF RELATIONS

Minsk and Islamabad are steadily expanding their cooperation. A Pakistani parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of Pakistan's Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani arrived in Belarus for a visit. The guests were received at the Palace of Independence. Belarus and Pakistan are long-standing, reliable partners; diplomatic relations between the two countries span more than 30 years. Cooperation between our nations is strategic and built on mutual trust, underpinned by regular high-level contacts

SECURING TRADE

Belarus has succeeded in redirecting trade flows eastward. The President received a report from Vladimir Orlovsky, Chairman of the State Customs Committee. They also discussed an important aspect for domestic exports: the introduction of a new system of confirmation of product expectations in Russia.

MARATHON OF NEGOTIATIONS
Trade, peace and new projects. The Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs held a series of talks on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. Maxim Ryzhenkov met with his Slovak counterpart to discuss the state of bilateral relations in detail. He also coordinated a schedule of visits and the promotion of the Eurasian Charter of Multipolarity with the Iranian Foreign Minister. Furthermore, Maxim Ryzhenkov held talks with the foreign ministers of Mongolia, Tanzania, Nicaragua, Botswana, and Sudan.

RADIATION SAFETY

Official Minsk has deeply regretted the news of Ukraine's denunciation of its nuclear safety cooperation agreement with Belarus. However, Ukraine has not yet officially informed Belarus of its decision. The text of the relevant resolution was published on the Ukrainian government's website.

TASTE OF BELARUS

Interregional contacts between Belarus and China continue to strengthen. An important step in the development of relations was the establishment of a joint production facility between Belarus' "Babushkina Krynka" and a Chinese partner; an official opening ceremony was held. The new enterprise makes it possible to take the dialogue to a new level, combining the traditions of Belarusian quality with the opportunities offered by the Chinese market.
