Craig Woodcroft to coach Belarusian national ice hockey team ahead of Olympic qualification

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation approved the coaching staff of the national team of Belarus ahead of qualification for the 2022 Olympics. The team is to be trained by HC Dinamo Minsk's coaching staff, headed by Craig Woodcroft. Today Mikhail Zakharov resigned as the Belarus national team's head coach. The Belarusians will compete for the only ticket to the Olympics with the teams of Slovakia, Austria and Poland from 26 to 29 August. The tournament in the qualification group will be hosted by Bratislava.
