Belarus national team successful at World Swimming Championships in Abu Dhabi

The national swimming team of Belarus arrived in Minsk from Abu Dhabi, which hosted the World Championships. There, Ilya Shimanovich took gold in 100 meters breaststroke. In addition, he set a new championships record of 55.7 seconds. Georgi Pekarski, who was 5th in 50 meters butterfly, updated his own national record for Belarus, which is now 22.35 seconds. Anastasia Shkurdai also broke a national record in 100 meters backstroke with 56.65 seconds.
