Belarus and Russia will organize a joint handball league
20.07.2022
In the context of politically motivated decisions of the international handball federation to remove Belarusian and Russian teams and national teams from international competitions, the handball federations of the two countries unite and plan to create a single league in the near future. The main goal is to keep the playing rhythm of the leading teams of the two countries at the same level, as well as to increase the entertainment of matches in the domestic arena. It is planned that the joint Belarusian-Russian league will feature four men's teams and two women's teams from each country.
