It is known from the case file that Antanas Gecevicius was a member of the 12th security battalion during the Great Patriotic War. He personally participated in punitive operations and gave orders for the destruction of civilians in Minsk and the Minsk Oblast. In total, at least 6.000 people were killed, including 31 children. The criminal case consists of 17 volumes, and 8 witnesses are involved in the case. This is the seventh criminal case sent to court against the Nazis and their accomplices in the history of Belarus.
