06.04.2026
The final week of Lent before Easter. During this period, believers remember the last days of Christ on earth. Holy Week is a time to refrain from bad habits, to forgive offenses, and to devote free time to good deeds and repentance. Each day of the week has a special meaning. From Monday to Thursday, it is customary to clean and tidy homes, dye eggs, and bake Easter cakes. The most strict day is Holy Saturday, also known as the Quiet Day. On Sunday, believers will gather in churches to celebrate Easter together.
