11.05.2026
On 10 May, Belarus celebrated one of its main holidays – the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and State Anthem. The country's largest flag, 500-metre-long and 9-metre-wide, was carried by approximately 800 people through the streets of Minsk. This year, the procession moved from the Minsk Hero City Stele to the State Flag Square. For the first time, a formation of cadet drummers led the column. This year, the event also took place in all regional capitals for the first time, concurrently with the Minsk procession. The event was organized by the Headquarters of Patriotic Forces. The country's largest flag was carried along the capital's Pobediteley Avenue for the first time in 2025.
