The first graduation of specialists from the joint programme of BSU and Peking University took place

The joint educational programme of the Belarusian State University and Peking University in biotechnology has trained the first specialists. The graduates received 22 diplomas, 18 of which were awarded with honours. The training lasted four years at two universities at once. The students took sessions in three languages and worked in laboratories with equipment that has no analogues in Europe. Research interests were the development of new medicines, including for the treatment of cancer, and the creation of production facilities in Belarus based on advanced Chinese technologies.
