The Belarusian government discussed current issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Russia

Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Natalya Petkevich met with Russian President’s Special Representative for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cultural and humanitarian cooperation (including in light of upcoming anniversaries of cultural and artistic figures), mutual participation in international events, and a number of medium-term cultural cooperation projects between the two countries. Mikhail Shvydkoy arrived in Belarus to participate in the XXXIII Minsk International Book Fair.
