Parliament forming completed in Belarus

On April 9, the Central Election Commission of Belarus will hold a meeting and sum up the results of the elections of members of the Council of the Republic. At the meeting of the Central Election Commission, a decision will also be made to convene the first session of the Council of the Republic. In general, the senators will have to solve the most important problems for the country. Firstly, this is lawmaking, and secondly, constant work with citizens’ appeals. Each region and the capital will be represented by 8 people in the upper house of parliament.
