More than 37.000 foreign students from 110 countries are studying at Belarusian universities
Belarusian higher education is gaining popularity among international applicants. In 2024, approximately 30.000 foreign students were studying in the country, and in 2026, this figure has increased to over 37.000 from 110 countries. These include Turkmenistan, China, Sri Lanka, Russia, and Uzbekistan. Applicants are choosing specialties that are in demand in their home countries. Citizens of Uzbekistan choose construction or architecture, Chinese students choose specialties related to the automotive industry and industrial economics, and students from Africa choose engineering and mechanical engineering. Students are attracted by the latest technologies, affordable prices, and the quality of education. A Belarusian diploma of international standard confirms a high level of training.
