Minsk high school #11 was named after Hero of Soviet Union Jumash Asanaliev

Representatives of embassy of Kirghistan in Belarus, students and teachers took part in the grand ceremony. A plaque was given to the educational establishment and was installed in the lobby. The school had performed a large preparatory work: a thematic project had been launched. In its course, the pupils had studied the hero's biography, attended memorial places connected with his life. Jumash Asanaliev was born in Kirghistan in 1923. He distinguished himself during liberation of the Vitebsk region of Belarus. He let the Hitlerites approach and gunned them down point-blank. He killed about 20 German soldiers and officers. When he ran out of ammunition, Asanaliev blew up himself and the Nazis who surrounded him with his last grenade.
