Belarus has built a comprehensive system of work, from social support to radiation safety control. According to experts, the level of radioactive contamination in some areas is currently decreasing. This is due to both government measures and natural processes. In recent decades, there have been no criminal cases in Belarus related to the circulation of products contaminated with radionuclides. The issue of adjusting the legal regime for affected areas has been proposed for consideration. The relevant agencies will continue working in this area.
