Belarus will send a copy of the verdict in the case of Nazi criminal Hans Siegling to Germany

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Belarus, Andrei Shved, will send a copy of the verdict in the case of West German citizen Hans Siegling to the competent German authorities. He was found guilty of genocide against the Belarusian people on 11 March of this year. According to the Supreme Court of Belarus, Hans Siegling, as the commander of a Ukrainian police company and later the 57th Security Police Battalion from 1942 to 1944, organized and led punitive operations in the occupied territories of the Belorussian SSR. As a result of his actions, 11 settlements were destroyed, and at least 1.706 people died, including at least 238 young children.
