St. Petersburg hosted the international conference on cultural ties and creative industries. Representatives of foreign governments participated in the forum's events. They discussed preserving shared historical and cultural heritage, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between countries in a rapidly changing world. Attention was also focused on developing common approaches to further deepening integration processes in the humanitarian and cultural spheres. Belarus and Russia signed a memorandum of cooperation on specific issues related to the formation of the UNESCO World Heritage List.
