Almost 10.000 people will be sent to military service in Belarus

On 23 April, a planned military conscription began in the country. Approximately 10.000 people are expected to be conscripted in April and May for military service, while another 600 will be conscripted for reserve service. On the first day of conscription, approximately 1.000 new recruits will join the military. They will be assigned to special operations forces, Minsk Military Commandant's Office and the 72nd Guards Joint Training Center. The first recruits will also report to the 361st Security and Maintenance Base, as well as the Border Service. The recruits will take their military oath on 23 May.
