A photo exhibition "Prisoners of Concentration Camps" opened in Grodno
On the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, a photo exhibition "Prisoners of Concentration Camps" opened in Grodno. Archival photographs are on display, capturing scenes from the death camps, prisons and ghettos established in the Grodno Oblast during the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition also features photographs of prisoners and their memories and explores how the memory of concentration camp victims is commemorated today. The photo exhibition is part of the interdisciplinary project "Genocide of the Belarusian People: Memory and Pain of Grodno Land" implemented by the Grodno Oblast Prosecutor's Office and the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno since February 2023.
