A large-scale military-historical reconstruction took place in Gomel District

A military history reenactment "The Fiery Summer of 1941" took place in the village of Dubovets in Gomel District. Participants included members of the military history club, students and schoolchildren. The scenario depicted an enemy sabotage group behind Soviet lines, an attempt to seize a radio station and a fierce battle. The event concluded with a flower-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Guests also enjoyed a field kitchen, workshops and interactive military activities.
