16.06.2026
The Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology launched a large-scale campaign. This year, the research, which directly impacts demographic security, has started. Belarusian women of reproductive age (18 to 45) in Brest Oblast are under close medical attention. Each participant will receive the test results and, if carrier status is detected, the necessary medical and genetic support at the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre. The project is scheduled to last three years. Young women are actively participating in the programme to preserve the country's future and care for their health. Over 400 students from two Brest universities have already participated in the research.
