08.06.2026
The events of the Great Patriotic War were recreated in Brest Oblast. More than 100 reenactors presented the history of the partisan movement in the Ivanovo district. In 1943-1944, the headquarters of the Pinsk Partisan Brigade was located here. The main character is Aleksandr Samuilik, a native of the village of Mokhro. He was the head of the village council, an underground fighter, and a participant in the "Fire Train" operation, where partisans dragged a captured train 40 km, returning stolen property to the people. Immediately after the performance, the audience was shown a field hospital, dugouts, wartime equipment, a partisan kitchen, and a forest school.
