Holy Week continues among Orthodox Christians. Holy Thursday is one of the key days of the week. The Church remembers the Last Supper, the last day of Jesus Christ's earthly life and his upcoming torments. Divine services are held in churches, believers confess and receive communion. This day is popularly called Maundy Thursday. It is customary to clean up the house, bake cakes and dye eggs.
