8,400 veterans to receive financial assistance for May 9
In the anniversary year of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the financial assistance was significantly increased, almost doubling. Thus, 4 thousand rubles will be received by disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War, as well as those who participated in battles against the Japanese army. Those awarded orders and medals of the USSR for selfless labor and impeccable military service in the rear, and other citizens for their services in wartime, will be given 2 thousand rubles. Family members of missing military personnel, as well as former prisoners of nazi camps, will receive one thousand rubles. Payments will be made from April 25 to May 4. In total, 10.5 million rubles are provided for financial assistance to veterans.
