Lukashenko presents special prize to Russian singer at Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk

During the opening ceremony of the international art festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko presented the festival’s key prize – the Belarus president’s special prize “Through art towards peace and mutual understanding” –to People’s Artist of Russia Grigory Leps.
“Thank you very much for such a high award! Thank you for appreciating my musical labor. I wish happiness, good health, and all the best to your brotherly nation. I wish a peaceful sky and great prosperity. Thank you!” Grigory Leps was grateful.
A star named after People’s Artist of Russia Grigory Leps was unveiled before the gala concert of the opening ceremony of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk earlier today. The cornflower named after Grigory Leps was added to the walk of fame of the people honored with the Belarus president’s special prize “Through art towards peace and mutual understanding” outside the Summer Amphitheater in Vitebsk.
