Photo exhibition Private Collection by Yekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya opens at Rumyantsev-Paskevich Palace in Gomel

An exhibition by Russian photo artist Yekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya has opened in Gomel. Private Collection presents famous people as the protagonists of paintings by Durer, Rembrandt, Velazquez, Monet, Renoir, Repin and Surikov. Among the photographer"s models are Lia Akhedzhakova, Vladimir Spivakov, Lyudmila Gurchenko, Andrei Makarevich and Philip Kirkorov. It took the artist about 20 years to complete the project, which features a total of over 300 famous personalities. The exhibition includes references to the original sources - each stylised portrait is accompanied by a reproduction of the original.The Gomel exhibition will be running until January.
