Minsk hosting 3rd Congress of Belarusian Writers' Union

Minsk is hosting the 3rd Congress of the Belarusian Writers" Union. The event is featuring about 600 participants, including from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and other countries.Belarusian writers will summarise activities over the past five years and outline future plans. Among the topical issues is the development of children"s literature, prose and poetry, as well as their genre variety.The event participants have been welcomed by President Alexander Lukashenko.
