Second Belarusian Christmas readings start in Minsk

The readings are organized by the Belarusian Orthodox Church in the framework of the Year of Culture.
The Second Belarusian Christmas readings have started today in the NationalAcademyofSciencesofBelarus. They are devoted to the history and culture of Orthodoxy in our lands in the period after the revolution of 1917 to the present day. The results of the century will be summed up by spiritual and secular people: scientists and theologians will define the main aspects of cooperation between the church and the state. The readings are organized by the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Culture, Education and Health. The opening of the social and cultural event was held in the National Academy of Sciences ofBelarus.
