Pobeda Cinema to screen award-winning films of XXII Listapad Festival

Day of Belarusian Cinema was established by a decree of the President of Belarus in 1994 and has since then been celebrated annually on 17 December. However, the founding year of the Belarusian cinema is 1924, when Belgoskino was opened in Minskto be later transformed into the Belarusfilm studio. Throughout its history, the company has made over 500 feature films, several thousand documentaries and about 100 cartoons. Among its most famous films are People from the Swamp, The Adventures of Buratino, Belye Rosy and August 1944.
