Year's literary results summed up in Gomel

Five of theGomelregion"s best representatives have received the Kirill of Turov Literary Prize. The award was established three years ago by the Gomel Regional Executive Committee to support talented countrymen. The writers and poets were required to submit works about the native land, traditions and culture of the Belarusian people. A total of 70 manuscripts were submitted. Each of the winners received a diploma and a prize, as well as the opportunity to publish their works at the expense of the regional budget.
