Memorial evening to be held in Minsk in honor of 80th anniversary of legendary film director Victor Turov

Today is the 80th anniversary of the birth of Victor Turov. The legendary Belarusian filmmaker is on the list of 50 world-known filmmakers. He is known for his films on military topics, among them are I Hail From Childhood, The Sons Leave For Battle, The War Under the Roofs. One of the most famous works is the film adaptation of Melezh"s trilogy Chronicle of Polesye. A memorial evening will be held in Minsk today in honor of Victor Turov. His memorial plaque will be opened.
