Polotsk chosen as 2017 Written Language Day capital

Polotsk has been chosen as the 2017 Written Language Day capital. Next year will also mark the 500th anniversary of Belarusian book printing. This weekend, Rogachev hosted an award ceremony of the Second National Literary Award, honoring seven winners selected by the jury. The winners of the Golden Pen of Contest among young journalists were also announced.
