Nobel Prize for Literature awarded to Belarusian writer Svetlana Aleksievich

Belarusian writer Svetlana Aleksievich won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2015. Books by Aleksievich are published not only in Belarus, but also in 19 other countries. The Belarusian writer is also the author of 21 documentary movies and three plays. The winners in such fields as medicine, physics and chemistry have already been announced. Tomorrow the laureate of the Peace Prize will be announced in the Norwegian capital.
