Kirmash artistic director awarded Order of Francysk Skaryna

The folklore and ethnographic ensemble Kirmash aims to revive Belarus" folk song cultural heritage.
Artistic director of the Belarusian folklore and ethnographic ensemble Kirmash Irina Kopchinskaya has received the Order of Francysk Skaryna. The award was presented by Belarus" Ambassador to Russia Igor Petrishenko on behalf of the Belarusian President.
The folklore and ethnographic ensemble Kirmash aims to revive Belarus" folk song cultural heritage. The group"s repertoire includes about 400 Belarusian folk songs.
Irina Kopchinskaya is the author of original folklore and ethnographic stage plays which have been performed in Austria, Italy, Poland and Russia.
