How painting helped Polina Monzharenko heal
Painting became a stimulus to life and the main aid in rehabilitation after an accident for Polina Monzharenko, a young girl from Borisov. The whole city followed the story about the local girl who was on the verge of death because of the accident. She was saved by doctors, her mother and art therapy! Polina's first wish after coming out of the coma was to draw. The young artist's works already have their fans. Now the local library is hosting her second exhibition "Ultramarine, the Color of the Soul". Art therapy helps Polina to restore her cognitive functions. The girl actively paints and plans to hold a number of exhibitions. She is trying her hand at icon painting. One important achievement for Polina this year was her admission to a medical college.
