Festival in Alexandria draws over 115,000 visitors

The festive celebrations in the homeland of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko began at 11 am and continued until night. There worked many locations where it was possible to get acquainted with the culture of various regions of our country and also Russian. Guests of Alexandria were able to try the products of domestic manufacturers. This year the Kupala holiday was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the unity of the peoples of Belarus and Russia and traditional family values. "We are a nation with an ancient history. We are building our statehood on the principles of careful preservation of our people’s historical and cultural memory. Everything that was created on our native land centuries ago and that we strive to preserve today, from ancient rituals and crafts to traditional holidays, is our roots,” - the Belarusian leader stressed.
