SPIRITUAL TRADITIONS
The foundation of the Belarusian statehood, the need to preserve the creative heritage of the ancestors and an important symbol of spirituality and continuity of traditions. President Aleksandr Lukashenko presented prizes "For Spiritual Revival", special prizes to cultural and artistic figures and "Belarusian Sports Olympus", and also described the current situation in the world.
EXAMPLE OF SOLIDARITY
Belarus has condemned the armed aggression against Venezuela and considers it a direct threat to international peace and global security.
ECONOMIC GROWTH
In 2025, Belarus will achieve a historic high GDP of over $90 billion dollars. A record-breaking export volume of over $50 billion dollars is expected over the next 10 years. For the first time, service exports reached over $11 billion dollars. Real household income increased by 23.4 percent. The preliminary results of 2025 and the five-year period were presented by the Minister of Economy, Yury Chebotar.
SOCIAL STANDARDS
The poverty rate in Belarus is one of the lowest in Europe. Belstat calculated data for 2023. From these data, it follows: the prevalence of multidimensional poverty in Belarus is only 2.7 percent — several times lower than in the European Union countries, where this indicator — for example, in Poland — exceeds 16%, in France — 20%, in Germany — 21%, in Italy — almost 23%, and in Lithuania and Latvia — the multidimensional poverty rate is 24% and almost 26%, respectively. The National Multidimensional Poverty Index was developed in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme and is officially recognized by the University of Oxford. Unlike traditional monetary indicators, the new index takes into account the quality of education, healthcare, housing conditions, employment, and living standards. Independent expertise has confirmed that the methodology meets international standards and will serve as an effective tool for social policy
UNION TREND
Minsk and Moscow are determining their long-term plans in key areas. The partners will form an updated program in the field of aircraft construction until 2035, which will involve the Belarusian industrial sector. It is also planned to create a unified information system that will ensure control over duplicate production. The main goal is to complement each other rather than compete at the expense of the Union economy. During the report to the President, the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia noted that the trade turnover in 2025 could become the highest in the history of bilateral relations. Strengthening ties with the regions, opening multi-brand centers for Belarusian equipment, and branded zones in major Russian retail chains contribute to the development of Belarusian industry.
