ENHANCEMENT OF COMBAT CAPABILITY 
In the face of any threat it's important to be fully prepared. But without modern weaponry it's impossible to fulfill the country's defense objectives. It was stated by the President at a meeting to discuss the army's technical equipment. Belarus isn't planning to go to war with anyone but always prepares for it. One of Aleksandr Lukashenko's main requests is to take into account the experience of modern conflicts. 

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP 
Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the Directive "On Practical Implementation of the All-Weather and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China". The document is an updated version of the previous Directive, expanding on its provisions and outlining the next stage - the most practical plans and objectives for expanding Belarusian-Chinese cooperation over the five-year period. 

BELARUS-SRI LANKA 
Belarus is strengthening ties with its Asian partners. The President met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of Sri Lanka. The countries are open to developing cooperation in various areas. Aleksandr Lukashenko urged his partners to identify specific areas of collaboration, which will form the basis of a cooperation roadmap. A number of important steps have already been taken that will facilitate closer contacts. 

FUTURE OF MEDICINE 
Minsk has become a magnet for medical professionals from around the world. The 31st international medical forum BelarusMedica was held in Minsk. Leading Belarusian and global companies presented their innovations. In total, the forum brought together over 200 participants from eight countries: Belarus, Russia, Hungary, India, Latvia, Türkiye, Switzerland and China. 

HANTAVIRUS PREVENTION 
Belarus has developed its own test system for detecting the RNA genome of viruses. These viruses cause hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, one of the most dangerous complications associated with hantavirus. This is not a new threat for our country: cases of hantavirus have been recorded since the 1990s.
