A universal smart meter was developed by Belarusian scientists. The device is able to collect the data on used electricity, gas, heat and water and automatically send the data to public utilities. The experiment was successfully held inVitebskand may soon appear in the apartment of every Belarusian. The system will be fully implemented inBelaruswithin 20 years.
