Nationwide robotics tournament held in Zhlobin

More than 200 school students from all regions and the city of Minsk presented their inventions at the Palace of Playing Sports. The age of the participants ranged from 9 to 17. There were 13 competitive nominations in 9 competences. Robots competed in air races, overcoming obstacles on ground tracks and in relay races. There were also unusual competitions: intellectual sumo, soccer and "big journey". The winners received prizes and certificates. The tournament program included not only competitions. Excursions, an exhibition of innovations and career guidance for young people were prepared for Zhlobin's guests.
