Today, IL-76 military transport aircraft flew from Machulishchi airfield to Beijing. It will deliver humanitarian aid from China to Belarus – a batch of COVID-19 vaccine. The crew is experienced in delivering humanitarian supplies. Last February Belarus became the first country to send humanitarian aid to China by the order of the president. Beijing also assisted Minsk in the fight against COVID-19. The total length of the flight will be 13,600 kilometers. For 20 hours of flight, the crew will cross 5 time zones. Belarusian pilots with fourteen tons of humanitarian cargo are expected to come back tomorrow.
