Additional measures have been taken in Belarus to prevent a decrease in the availability of medical care. Some hospitals have been redesigned into infectious diseases departments, the operation of polyclinics has been optimized. Outpatient and polyclinic care has been reoriented to provide it at home, an out-patient work with infectious patients and their contacts has been organized. As noted by doctors, the delta strain now mainly circulating in Belarus is more infectious. There are differences in the clinical manifestations of COVID-19. Now the infection peaks on the 3-4th day (instead of 7-8th). According to the Ministry of Health, the only way to improve the situation is through vaccination. The first dose has already been administered by over 27% of the Belarusian population.
