MART recommended Brest Region reducing share of food imports

The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus (MART) recommended the Brest Region to reduce the share of food imports. A meeting on additional measures to protect the domestic market with the participation of the head of the department Vladimir Koltovich was held in the regional center. MART recommended manufacturers to not exceed 4% annual raise in prices, to export at prices higher than the manufacturing cost, and not cover the costs at the expense of the domestic market. Trade organizations were advised to keep the minimum prices for socially significant goods.
